Music and Entertainment

Music speaks to the heart and celebrates life. Enjoy country, classic rock, gospel singing and dancing each day at the Magnolia Festival. 

Join us Wednesday evening for Gospel Night featuring Gold City and LeFevre Quartet, Thursday for  KLBC's  Texaco Showdown, and Friday for Texas Country artist Curtis Grimes. On Saturday, the great entertainment continues as Morris McCann and Stephen Pride take the stage. Booths & Vendors

With vendors from all over Oklahoma and Texas we are sure you will find something perfect to take home.  The Magnolia Festival has everything from unique arts and crafts to informational booths as well as handmade jewelry, clothing and accessories, Scentsy products, and much more!! Children's Activities

Join in on our free children's activites on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Activites include our Annual Children's Parade, Turtle Races, Bounce Houses, Face Painting, and much more for youngsters to participate in. 

Children's Activities Schedule:

9:00 am- Children's Parade Line Up (Downtown Durant)

9:30 am - Children's Parade 

10:00 am- Children's Free Events Start (Choctaw Event Center)

12:00 pm- Turtle Races

3:00 pm- Children's Free Events End

 

Parade

Children are welcome to participate in a walking parade down Main Street with awards following. Kids decoate your bikes, wagons, or dogs and come on down! Children will begin to line up for parade at 9:00am, location TBA.

                                          

Texoma Art Association Art Show and Sale

Be sure to stop by the Magnolia Festival Art Show and Sale. Here you will find a variety of local artisans paintings, sculptures, wood pieces, and more that can be enjoyed and purchased. The Magnoila Festival Art Show will open each morning at 10:00am running Thursday, May 30 - Saturday, June 1.

Native American Events

As headquarters of the Choctaw Nation, Durant will showcase the history and folklore of the Choctaws. The Princess Pageant features young ladies displaying traditional dresses and talents. Through their colorful dance movements, the dancers tell stories rich in Native American heritage that always delight the audience.
