MAGNOLIA THEATER presented by Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival

The Magnolia Theatre provides FREE, family entertainment for all ages inside the Choctaw Event Center. This year's entertainment will be top-of-the-line with performances by actors with Durant's renowned OSF. CARNIVAL presented by Cardinal FG

The Magnolia Festival is proud to welcome back Pride Amusements to the Choctaw Event Center grounds with games, rides and fun for all ages. The Cardinal FG Carnival will be held May 31 - June 3, 2017. Be sure to check out two new rides - Haunted House and Screamer! See carinval times and pricing below.

FIREWORKS presented by Brady's Stockpile O' Fireworks and Pettit Machinery-John Deere

You won't want to miss the spectacular fireworks show to kick off the 21st Annual Magnolia Festival on Thursday, June 1 at the Choctaw Event Center. The display is presented by Brady's Stockpile O' Fireworks.

Run through the magnolias of Durant, and earn a second helping of funnel cake, at the 2017 Magnolia Run 5K and Fun Run! Starting in Downtown Durant on Saturday, June 3, the Magnolia Run will kick off a morning of fun for all ages. All children 13 and under can participate in the 1 Mile Fun Run for free! REGISTER ONLINE HERE.

Race Day registration for 5K and Fun Run begins at 7:15 a.m.

Join in on our FREE and FUN children's activities on Saturday, June 3 in the outdoor tent at Choctaw Event Center. Activities include wipeout inflatable course, magician, dunk booth and much more for youngsters to participate in. Largest Turtle Races in Oklahoma begin at 1:30 p.m.

The Durant Riding Club's 76th Rodeo will take place in conjunction with the 2017 Magnolia Festival and will feature two nights of non-stop rodeo action at the Bryan County Fairgrounds on S 9th Street in Durant. An exciting barrel race is also scheduled for Memorial Day on Monday, May 29. As headquarters of the Choctaw Nation, Durant will showcase the history and folklore of the Choctaws. The Choctaw Dancers will take the stage on Friday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m. Through their colorful dance movements, the dancers tell stories rich in Native American heritage that always delight the audience. The Choctaw Princess Pageant will immediately follow, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Choctaw Princess Pageant features young ladies displaying traditional dresses and talents. You won't want to miss it!

VETERAN'S RECEPTION presented by Pettit Machinery-John Deere

Veterans are invited to join us for our annual Veterans Reception on Thursday, June 1 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Choctaw RV Park located at 3650 Enterprise Blvd (just east of the Choctaw Event Center) in Durant. Be sure to stick around for the Fireworks at dusk! Take a ride through the magnolias with the Durant Rotary's 21st annual Magnolia Bike Tour. The tour begins at Carl Albert Park on Saturday, June 3. Advance Registration and information is available at www.magnoliabiketour.com.

Be sure to visit downtown Durant Main Street for a variety of activities throughout the Magnolia Festival weekend. The Magnolia Farmers Market on Saturday will feature fresh and local produce, products and items as well as magnolia tree saplings for sale! Downtown merchants will also give special discounts to those wearing the official Magnolia Festival 2017 t-shirt. More details on downtown events coming soon.
