BOOTHS & VENDORS

With 120+ vendors and booths from all over the region, you will indeed find the “perfect” item to take home! Held at the Choctaw Event Center, this festival offers everything from artisan crafts to handmade jewelry, clothing, accessories, informational booths, children’s activities, and much more! 

 

After you work up an appetite, enjoy one of the many specialty food vendors inside and outside the Event Center! Festival favorites like smoked turkey legs, funnel cakes, corn dogs, cotton candy, and more will be available!

CARDINAL FG PRIDE AMUSEMENT CARNIVAL

Bigger and better – Mitchell’s Amusements Carnival, presented by Cardinal FG will have 3X the number of “Power Rides” as our previous carnivals! New hours as well so the whole family can play and enjoy longer! Great specials on wristbands will be announced on Facebook and here as soon as it is available.

26th OPENING CEREMONY

To begin this year’s festivities, we are honoring those who’ve grown the festival to what it is today! Both individuals and community partners will be celebrated as we officially open the Magnolia Festival with the “ringing of the gong”! Don’t miss this momentous occasion that will also feature awardees of the Jon Hazell Scholarships to Southeastern Oklahoma State University! MAGNOLIA RUN - 5K & 1M FUN RUN

Take the celebration downtown and start your day with the Magnolia Festival 5K & 1M Fun Run! If you run both, you’re automatically entered to win $100 – regardless of finish time! Plus, this year, the run qualifies for P.A.C.E. members! After the race, stay downtown and enjoy the Magnolia Farmers Market, restaurants, shopping, and fun! ART DEMOS & SALE

Presented by Texoma Arts Association

Be sure to stop by the Magnolia Festival Art Sale inside the Choctaw Event Center. Texoma Arts Association will be having live art demos along with a variety of local artisan’s paintings, sculptures, wood pieces, and more that can be enjoyed and purchased.

DOWNTOWN DURANT MAIN STREET

Be sure to visit downtown Durant Main Street for a variety of activities throughout the Magnolia Festival weekend. The Magnolia Farmers Market on Saturday will feature fresh and local produce, products and items as well as a magnolia-themed kids craft and magnolia tree saplings for sale!

Presented by United Ag & Turf

Visit us during Magnolia Festival hours to see a large collection of antique tractors at the Antique Tractor Show & Parade presented by United Ag & Turf on the east parking lot at the Choctaw Event Center. Buckles will be awared to Best Original, Best Remodel and People’s Choice.

ADOPT-A-MAGNOLIA

Back again! Help us replenish the magnolia trees in Durant – The Magnolia Capital of Oklahoma! It’s your chance to spruce up your neighborhood or community park for free. Adoption stipulations will apply.

Trees are first-come, first-served, and we have a limited number for adoption – visit the Adopt-A-Magnolia booth inside the Choctaw Event Center during festival hours to adopt a tree to plant and care for.

MAGNOLIA BIKE TOUR

Presented by Durant Rotary

Ride through the magnolias as Durant Rotary presents the annual Magnolia Bike Tour on Saturday, June 5. Beginning at Durant High School (950 Gerlach Dr.), this bike ride includes new routes of varying distances.

 

Same-day registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and the ride begins at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Pre-registration is available, visit www.magnoliabiketour.com for more information.

CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT: MAGNOLIAS FOR RAFE, A COTA Fundraiser

Magnolia Festival of Oklahoma presents ‘Magnolias For Rafe: COTA Cornhole Tournament’ on Saturday, June 5 in downtown Durant. Hosted by Lost Street Brewing Co (109 W Lost St.), the tournament begins at 4:00 p.m. This fun tournament will benefit COTA for Rafe’s Fight. Learn more about this live-saving mission for Rafe Cross by visiting www.COTAforRafesFight.com and COTA for Rafe’s Fight on Facebook.

 

Cost is $50 donation per team and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Sign up your team day-of at Lost Street Brewing Co or in advance at Durant Area Chamber of Commerce.
